For this investigation I focused on landscapes, and how I could add an observation point to them. I decided to add background figures/silhouettes that draw attention when you look at them. I added a lighthouse and people on the rocks in the background. This presents an opportunity to a viewer to look more closely at the background, which is something not normally focused on in art.
