For this projected in my investigation I chose to explore the relationship between humans and marine animals. In the beginning of my investigation I focused on human and ocean relationship and then switched to a focus on the animal and ocean relationship. I wanted to connect all of these topics into one. I started by sketching out the childs hair and hands. I used colored pencil for the entire piece to have texture in the hair, and to be able to use a lot of different colors for depth. I did each curl individually and continued untill the head was full. I added the crab ontop of the childs hand with darker colors and added white gel pen to make it stand out.
