My sustained investigation is about the connection between the ocean and life. For this project I focused specifically on my connection to the ocean. I compiled shells from my vacations to Florida, Mexico, and South Carolina. The shells hold memories, and are a path of places I've been.  I coated the canvas in liquid nail, and laid the shells in it.
