Personal Statement: I am a first grade teacher at TAG Young Scholars in East Harlem. I started my career with teaching second grade for two years before transitioning to first grade. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to listen to students’ ideas and learn from them. I also love being able to see my students grow – physically, emotionally, and knowledgably!
