Personal Statement: I have nine years of social work experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long and brief intervention, group work, and community outreach. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baruch College, where I majored in psychology and minored in sociology. I obtained my Master’s degree from the Hunter College, Silberman School of Social Work. At my current school I am a member of the school Equity team and the PBIS team. I am continuously seeking

to gain more skills and broaden my education. I have obtained certificates in bilingual social work practice, collaborative problem solving, life space crisis intervention, Mindful schools, and CASEL 5 social emotional learning. I strive to meet the needs of the community I work with through social and emotional empowerment, while utilizing a strengths based approach.
