Personal Statement: This is my 20th year working in District 4. Eight years as a special education teacher and twelve years as an Assistant Principal. This year I am the special education liaison for my school and my focus is to change the mindset of special education practices in my building. With guidance from the Manhattan Field Support team and monthly liaison meeting I have been given the resources to make an impact in my school. I look forward to continuing this work next year and moving the needle even further.
