Photos are something sentimental. They are preserved moments that people can look back to. Photos often provide nostalgia, transporting the viewer back to a time that is cherished. Using photos that are valuable to him, Tyler Tran creates digital collages and hand-drawn images to show his appreciation for the moments he experienced in them.
Screen printing is a method that has been practiced for several years. It serves as a artistic medium that is also very practical, and have been used to create signs that address propaganda, political messages, and so on. With the process of screen printing, Tyler Tran uses this approach as an opportunity to create work with bold and simple colors.
