Many creatives find gaining exposure and connecting with peers to be a challenging task. This is especially true for emerging artists who are just starting their artistic journey. However, thanks to the students of ART 104 at San Jose State University (SJSU), the Digital + New Media Archive has been created to help overcome these challenges.

The Digital + New Media Archive is a platform created for SJSU artists by SJSU artists. It started as a collective effort by the ART 104 students of the spring 2023 semester and has grown to collect, organize, and present the artwork of San Jose State University's talented community. The aim of the Archive is to give creatives a singular location for sharing and networking.

In addition to providing a platform for sharing artwork, the Archive also serves as an educational tool for students. The students who worked on the Archive gained valuable experience in the areas of curation, archiving, and digital media. This experience not only prepares them for future careers in the arts but also allows them to give back to the SJSU arts community.
