Based in Monterey County, Evelyn Palmeno gains inspiration from the art found throughout the region and its multiple communities. Mainly specializing in game design and illustration, she also explores other mediums, such as 3D modeling and 3D printing, traditional media, and animation. Evelyn's passion for visual storytelling has led her to showcase artwork for game promotions and take on the role of social media manager during her tenure at GameStop. Evelyn is committed to using her art to engage with her community. She has participated in projects such as: Salinas ArtBoxes, where local artists transform electrical boxes into public art. She has also contributed her photography to “Fog and Fields Literary Journal ” (2019) by Yousef Al-Shinnawi. She served as an illustrator for "Deaf Latinos," a nonprofit organization supporting the Deaf community in Los Angeles, in June 2019. Her works are deeply influenced by the music, pop culture, animation, and video games of the late 1990s and early 2000s, reflecting a blend of nostalgia and modernity that resonates in her art.
