Alicia Chi is an Asian-American digital artist based in the Bay Area, California. She specializes in 2D illustration, concept design, and 3D environments within the sci-fi genre. Her expertise extends to creating live 2D illustrations and creating game concepts. Her passion lies in creating character designs and the exploration of the aesthetic relationship between humans and technology.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Chi’s works as a concept artist, delving into 3D environments within the futuristic sci-fi genre and cartoon style.

The creation of designs, characters, and illustrations remains at the forefront of her passions. As she explores 3D as a medium, she develops her conceptual work around how people grow, evolve, and interact with technology continues to be a topic of interest as it continues to rapidly evolve in this current age.

Her bodies of work bring together the concept of a futuristic dystopian future centered around propaganda, war, and technology. Showcasing 2D and 3D works, Illusionary Sense aims to be an immersive series of works that melds concepts into reality through implementing my practices to create a world dedicated to series and artists who’ve also explored this concept through art.
