The commoners dress in baggy pants, thick kaftans and leather jackets, often jackets made of pelts in winter. The area is known for rain in summer and snow in winter, so keeping warm and dry is a priority in the type of dress. Both genders wear caps with fur lining, and fur is common in clothing decorations. While the outer clothes are in natural colours, the people of Drevnedub prefer colourful clothing underneath. The elders of a village usually dress in black, with a red headband. Head sages in Drevnedub are usually amongst the village elders, and dress as elders, while their acolytes dress in church garb. The bogatir dress in finer versions of the commoners clothing, often richly decorated by pelts or silver. They are usually armed in chainmail or scale, with swords and shields, and lances when on horseback. The militia members usually don’t have armour, but have shields and spears, with axes as backup. Those that have seen more battles might have equipment closer to that of the bogatir.
