1) As a reminder to all Home Owners the Association Rules and Regulations ban the use of 4th of July Fireworks in the neighborhood. Homeowners need to inform all family members, friends, and renters to be sure and observe this rule as fines will be imposed.
2) For gate code problems or entry questions and concerns, please contact the Association's Manager, Judy Hamner at Elite Association Management Company 360-685-4209.
3) Homeowners, family members, friends, renters, and vendors working in the neighborhood need to obey the 15mph speed signs. Many families with young children and neighbors walking have noticed vehicles going very fast in the neighborhood.
4) For homeowners holding events at their homes, please remind your guests they CAN NOT PARK on the grass and they MUST park in the paved pullouts. Visitors having large events may park on one side of the street if necessary. Please do NOT park on both sides of the street as it will restrict access by Emergency vehicles. Homeowners are responsible for your guest's proper parking in the neighborhood.
5) Sometime this summer in July or August, there will be a few days where homeowners will not be able to park or drive to their driveways due to planned street asphalt seal coating work. Sections of roadways will be blocked off for the work and to allow for drying.
6) This past spring many homeowners took pride in keeping their landscaping looking nice. Some homeowners needed one or two reminders to review the CC & R's to realize landscaping needs ongoing upkeep, not once a year upkeep. With this in mind, weeds and lawn mowing need to be done regularly. Thanks to Judy for contacting homeowners to ensure that HOA members keep the neighborhood looking nice. Homeowners are responsible to inform their renters of all the rules they need to follow from parking, landscaping, garbage cans, and such. This is particularly important to all the homes that are for sale and have sold for competitive prices. A huge thank you to all of you that follow the rules and others that are now realizing they too must follow rules as this is part of purchasing a home in the development.
7) Dogs need to be on leashes when being walked by homeowners and family members. All dog droppings must be immediately picked up. This is an ongoing issue that has been addressed many times.
8) All shrubs and landscaping need to be trimmed and prevented from growing into the sidewalk areas. Please check your own yards if this applies to sidewalks on your property.
9) Homeowners with children, inform them to please keep out of the new home construction site occurring near the main gate entrance. This is private property.
10) Homeowners please know that if you are going to be painting your house and plan on changing the paint color of your home, this needs board approval before you begin. Also, any major updates to front yard landscaping needs board approval before beginning or members may be asked to restore to the original condition for various reasons. Also, fence plans, gates, and sheds also needs board approval and plans to be submitted. Normal turnaround time is 30 days, so plan accordingly.
11) The next quarterly board meeting is scheduled for August 20th from 6:30-8:00pm at board member Lynne Sterrit's home at 8693 Ashbury Court. Mark your calendars now.
