Golf Course Closure Signage:
Some neighbors that walk or play golf may have noticed the new golf course
signs at their entrance and exit areas which reads "Golf Course Closed" and
"No Trespassing". As a walker myself that likes to get every step in as
much as possible, I was not sure if this meant for walkers or just their
golfing customers. When I was walking last night in the early evening,
there were other walkers that wanted to be law abiding citizens and did not
want to trespass either and make an assumption either way if we would be
considered trespassers. I told them I would contact Justin Conlan to get
clarification on this. Justin's golf course response as follows:
* The sign does not pertain to homeowners walking the driveway
loop. The golf course is now closed due to shelter in place laws so we had
limited our pro shop hours. The sign and chain is geared more towards
keeping cars out of the parking lot after hours, i.e. people sneaking onto
the golf course, whether to play or goof around.
* He also mentioned that they are lucky at the golf course that
everyone still has jobs, although some are limited hours until they get back
open fully.
Mail Problems Again:
* Two neighbors reported having mail errors or non-delivery of
items, so this is a concern again. One neighbor did not receive important
mail that they were expecting last week and another neighbor received
someone else's important prescriptions. Please be neighborly and give
neighbors their mail, or let the postal carrier know too, plus feel free to
report problems to the Blaine Post Office and/or file a complaint.
Garbage Cans:
* All homeowners please remember garbage cans need to be out of
sight and not stored on the side of homes or in the front of garages. Please
put in the garage or back yard.
* We have neighbors that will volunteer to do this if someone will
be out of town after the garbage pick-up.
Landscaping:
* Thanks to the many homeowners that have been working in their
yards the last few days. It is been recognized and much appreciated by those
that have their homes for sale and a few more homes coming on the market in
the next few days too. Please keep in mind any homeowner making any
changes to their front yard and/or landscaping must get board approval first
by submitting necessary paperwork so that fines are not implemented. If in
doubt at any time, contact Judy Hamner for questions at
judy4elitemanagement@gmail.com.
Thanks to several neighbors for reaching out to me about the past
newsletter sent on March 22, 2020 and requesting to share this additional
information. I am so glad many homeowners are reading it. Please also
share this information with anyone in your household too.
