Many of you may have noticed all the work going on at our Storm Water Treatment Facility (Tract D) at the corner of Ashbury Court and Cambridge Loop. David Evans and Associates (DEA) performed our mandatory 3-Year Bio-swale and Storm Water Facility Professional Engineering Inspection on April 29, 2015 in accordance with our CC&R's and our Storm Water Maintenance Plan on file with Whatcom County. The HOA is bound to correct the findings outlined in DEA's report. The report work scope was sent out for bid and the work is now approximately 50% completed. This identified work includes cleaning out several catch basins, removing several bio-swale silt screens, performing bio-swale grass cutting maintenance throughout the neighborhood, sediment removal in one section of the storm water pipe on Cambridge Loop, cut and remove the 5 foot tall grass down to 6 inches per the CC&Rs in; Tract C Water Conveyance Lot, Tract D Storm Water Treatment Lot, and outfall of Tract E. And lastly, the most expensive item - drain the storm water settling ponds and suck out the accumulated sediment in all three water quality ponds. Work should be completed by September 18, 2015.
