Homeowners and Lot Owners,
Hello and Happy Holidays to All and The Neighborhood is Looking Quite Magical and Cheerful with all the Beautiful Lights:
1) This announcement includes a few reminders as the holidays approach to remind your guests and family members to park in "pull outs" please. This means not on the grass, not in the boulevard areas, and not in empty lots also. If you are having a lot of guests at any time if they could be instructed and reminded to also park to one side of the road so that if an emergency happened that emergency vehicles could get through.
2) Homeowners and business owners that have work vehicles please be respectful of parking your own vehicles in your own driveways and/or garages. Occasional use of pull out parking spaces are temporary and not for permanent use; but occasional use which does include drivers moving their vehicles every so often is understood, but be respectful of not leaving personal vehicles, business vehicles, or contractor vehicles parked for continued extended periods of time at times. Some homeowners have concerns about this and so we are sharing this with everyone.
3) This Saturday December 12th at 7:00pm is a Board of Directors meeting at 8655 Cambridge Loop at Ryan and Kathy Barnes home. All are welcome to attend. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend by Friday December 11th for planning for ample seating and set up. RSVP to barnesfern@comcast.net or call (360) 305-5508 and leave a message for Kathy with your names and the number from your household attending please.
4) Hopefully everyone received a letter from Brent Hamner of Best Realty dated December 2, 2015 for a Call of Nominees. Please if anyone wants to serve on the board and has an interest in this feel free to let any board member know or contact Brent Hamner. Remember, board members are volunteers and our HOA is growing with more homes being built and new homeowners moving to the neighborhood. I am vacating my position after two years as I am very busy at work and truly do not have enough time to put into this position to do the best job that I would like to do. For anyone that likes to write, take good notes, get the notes out on time, and even possibly produce a monthly newsletter please come forward as the HOA needs you.
5) Mark your calendars now for the ANNUAL HOA MEETING which is scheduled on January 23, 2016 from 11-1 at the Loomis Trail Clubhouse on the 2nd floor. Also, please watch for a mailing from Brent Hamner regarding this too. Brent's phone number if anyone wants to get on the ballot for being a new board member is (360) 671-3536.
6) Also, the large light posts that have missing lights will be replaced. The company has been notified several times and for whatever reason they have not changed them yet. They will get another reminder as this is a top priority and concern for safety in the neighborhood too.
We hope to see neighbors at the Board Meeting and for anyone contemplating being on the board as a new board member this is a good time to see a board meeting in action; plus meet current board members. More importantly get to know and visit with long time neighbors and introduce yourself as a new neighbor. There will be some holiday treats and drinks to enjoy too! If anyone has anything to add to the board agenda please email Ryan Barnes at barnesfern@comcast.net no later than Thursday December 10th by 8:00pm.
