The Greens at Loomis Trail Newsletter
August 2019
Hello HOA members,
Since the July Newsletter was sent, no one requested information or submitted information to be added to this newsletter so it will be very short and includes general information that will be more reminders in nature.
Monday August 12, 2019 is the Next Quarterly Board Meeting:
The meeting time is 6:30-8:30pm at 8693 Ashbury Court. All HOA members are invited to attend these meetings.
Garage Sale Interest:
If anyone is interested in being involved in having a garage sale before the end of the year, please attend the meeting. The person that was originally interested in having one is no longer able to do this in the next month; however, if anyone else in the neighborhood that was interested should attend the August 12th meeting as someone would have to Chair this event. As a Chair Person they would have to know the neighborhood expectations of a garage sale with advertising, parking, and such.
Dog Poop Update:
The good news on this topic is that no one has reported poop droppings around the boulevard grass areas. It is much appreciated by all homeowners, families, and guests that people are picking up after their pets. Thank you all!
Garbage Cans:
In consideration of all neighbors, please try to put your garbage cans out the day before or the morning of the Monday pick-up. Some neighbors will put them out several days ahead or even a week if they know they will be gone or not living in the neighborhood regularly. It can be an eyesore for the neighborhood or a home safety concern that someone is gone. Most neighbors are kind enough if they are asked to help put out garbage cans and recycle bins if they are asked. This is a kind neighborly thing to do.
Landscaping and Yard Upkeep:
Overall, over the past few months there have been few complaints on this topic. Please know it is up to all HOA members whether they live in the neighborhood year round or seasonally to maintain their yards on a regular basis. If anyone is unable to do this for any reason, they need to hire help to maintain their mowing and landscaping needs. While, the HOA does the quarterly viewing of front yards, it is also worth noting that back yards may not be in the direct view during the inspection and for the respect of your neighbors to also please maintain back yards that neighbors do have to look at from their backyard views and try to maintain backyards as well. This is a friendly neighborly thing to do as well.
Painting Houses and Changing Landscaping:
Remember, all HOA members please read and be familiar with the CC & R’s on these two topics to prevent neighborhood complaints and fines from possibly happening. This will be discussed at the next board meeting too.
Home Sales, Gate Openings, and More:
There are currently seven homes for sale in our neighborhood. Please realize that the gate has been open more for Open Houses. Realtors have been great at contacting Ryan to have the gates open and with this many homes for sale it is important to keep our neighborhood looking it’s best for the investment of all our real estate properties too.
HOA Board Members are Volunteers:
If anyone would like to know what it is like to be a board member for the 2020 year, there will be a few openings anticipated. A good way to learn is to attend the August 12th board meeting. Now is the time please to start thinking about being a volunteer board member. No one is paid for any positions. The payment comes in the reward of working for the best interest of the HOA of the Greens at Loomis Trails to continue to serve our community.
Future Newsletter Submission:
