We located a small, slow leak near the Main Lines where we installed the flow-meter and repaired the broken valve. Rather than ignore the small leak and let it turn into a larger problem, we will turn the pump off until we can locate and repair the leak.
So those of you that discovered leaks of your own can use this time to do repairs without fear of 60 psi of water spraying you in the middle of your project. We will update you here when we know when the water will be coming back on. Sorry, and thanks for your patience.
Update 4/23/17 - We bailed the water out of the hole and pressured up the Main Line this morning. We were able to find a pinhole leak in a joint. It is good we caught this before the constant pressure of the line made this leak much larger, and knowing where our repair needs to be made is half the battle won. We will get the repair underway and keep you posted as to when we can pressure the lines up again.
Thank you to all of those that called and emailed and offered to help!
Update 4/24/17 - The leaking joint in the pipe has been removed and replaced. The glue it setting and we will be able to pressure test this evening. The 7 1/2 HP pump has also been whisked away for repairs. If you are in the middle of a project that cannot be isolated by your Main Valve, call us now or you may get wet when we pressurize the line.
Update 4/25/17 - The fix held and the pump was on most of the night. We lost prime because the water wheel on 19 Road was full of trash and blocking water, but we are good to go now. Please stick to your water times, and if you see a leak or a section of common area sprinklers that have been on for a long time, please call us so we can fix it! 970-639-4061
