Please have a fun and safe Fourth of July weekend!
Please also keep a few things in mind: the safety of our neighbors is very important to all of us. We are currently under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions, which means that personal use of fireworks has been banned by Mesa County. This applies to the HOA’s Open Spaces and personal residences within the subdivision. Be respectful to your neighbors.
Firing guns and/or bows and arrows in the HOA’s Open Spaces is NOT an acceptable use of our shared parks. There is not enough room in our subdivision for practice ranges in public or private properties. Any fired or launched projectile could potentially maim or kill a person and will not be tolerated. These activities should IMMEDIATELY be reported to law enforcement.
It has also come to our attention that children have been seen driving motorized vehicles down the streets and open space trails in our subdivision. Not only is this potentially dangerous to the children driving the vehicles (and everyone they come into contact with), it is against city, county and state law. Let’s all stay safe and keep motorized toys out in designated public lands, where they belong.
Thank you for keeping our neighbors safe!
