Two nights ago we were made aware of a very large swarm of bees in the neighborhood. We were able to call in an expert to have them safely relocated, but a few neighbors were stung while in the area. Yesterday yet another swarm landed at a neighbor’s yard, and again the bees were rescued, so do keep an eye out for large gatherings of bees and do not approach them or spray them with water or poison. Call us 970-639-4061 and we will have an expert Beekeeper remove the swarm (at no charge).
According to our Governing Documents, farm animals, such as chickens and goats, are not allowed in the neighborhood. Keeping honeybees is also not allowed within the neighborhood. This is for health and safety reasons.
Last night and this morning we received a substantial amount of rain. The high winds last night may have knocked out your power temporarily. If you had to reset clocks around the house, you will also need to reset your sprinkler timer to the correct day/month/year and time so your sprinkler system activates on the correct days and time. With as much rain as we have received, and will get again later today, you might consider turning your system off for a couple of days (or you might sprout mushrooms!).
