This morning we are struggling to keep enough water in the irrigation holding tank to keep the pumps on. We will deliver the water to the best of our abilities as it becomes available, but we have no control over how much water comes down the line from upstream.
We are working on repairing and moving sprinklers in common areas so these areas are more efficiently watered. We are exploring options to xeriscape small sections of common areas to save water. The Townhomes Association also recently undertook the large project of reprogramming all of their zones to make sure their lawns are being efficiently watered. We are working very hard to improve the system and keep the irrigation water flowing with the fewest interruptions as possible.
You can help by sticking to the schedule and by not overwatering your lawn. There will be a new watering schedule next year that will reduce the amount of residences watering at any one time, which will increase water pressure and decrease the amount of water being pulled from the pond.
If you would like to volunteer to help with these projects, please contact the Board at 970-639-4061.
Thank you!
