It is getting hot out there, and to make things more interesting the farmers are all trying to get their second cuttings going so there is a great demand on water right now. Rumor has it the main canal is a foot and a half lower than normal because people in the valley are using up the water so quickly.
That being said, we are trying to keep the pumps going, but we need your help. The neighborhood schedule for watering allows for EITHER two hours in the morning OR two hours in the evening. If you don't need the full two hours, don't use it. If you are watering during both time slots you are stealing from your neighbors and you should reprogram your timer so there is water available to those who haven't had a chance to water yet.
If you see neighbors who are being water hogs, take the opportunity to introduce yourself and educate them about the watering schedule. Give them a copy of the schedule or direct them to the website so they can print a copy of the schedule for themselves.
Please be patient as this issue works itself out. If there is water we will get it to you. That's the best we can do.
Thank you
