Good evening,
We brought out a couple of pump experts this afternoon to try and ascertain why the irrigation water pressure from the pumps has been fluctuating the last few days, and unfortunately we’re looking at a pump failure on the 10HP pump, which backs-up the main 7.5HP pump.
As we coordinate finding a new 10 HP pump and removing the failed pump, we will still have a functioning 7.5HP pump but we’ll have to be gentle with it for it to be effective. If you don’t need water after the heavy rains the last few days, turn your system off. If you are watering in the morning slot and the afternoon slot, please stop, that’s not how the schedule was designed and you are taking more water than you are entitled to. If your neighbor is watering outride of the schedule or during both slots, let us know and we’ll fix it.
We do not anticipate any need for Special Assessments at this time. We make annual contributions to our Reserve Account, as required by law, to have money set aside for emergencies and repairs, such as this situation. We will try to get a new pump in the ground with as little interruption to irrigation as possible and as quickly as possible. We will post updates here.
