HVF MD Disclaimer

I've worked for many companies that first trid to restricty any social media publishing. IIRC, courts ruled against this. So, companies moved to a disclaimer policy when an employee published on Social Media. I've used disclaimers on social media posts for over 10 years. 

On 22DEC2025, a board member told me I could not, or should not, publish anything about HVF MD on social media. Given my experience above, I do not believe this is a legal ruling. So, on the same day, I asked for clarification. As of today, I have not received a response. As a board member representing the residents, I believe I am obligated to provide communications to HVF residents.

Lacking any response, I thought it would be best to create a disclaimer similar to the one I used at AT&T and to put this disclaimer on my social media posts. I used a disclaimer generator to create a draft, and then edited it for length. AT&T legal provided example disclaimers. 

From time-to-time, I will update or modify the disclaimeer as I receive more or better input.
