Special announcement: Election of Board of Directors
Minutes of june and July 2014 Meetings
Membership: We currently have 72 paid members, including family.
Announcements: Elections of Board of Directors will be held at the August
meeting. Nominees include Tim Cassity-Curtiss, Mark Baskin, David Pai,
John Skocilic and Jim Malone. Four directors are to be elected.
Free admissions vouchers are available for the Long Beach Coin show
being held Sept. 4-6. Get passes at our meeting or go on-line and use
promo code FREEPASS.
Old and New Business: ANA presented our Greater Orange County Coin
Club with an anniversary plaque celebrating 25 years of membership.
Donations: "We recently received a donation of a variety of coin club items
formerly belonging to Eileen and Charles Boothe. They were members
and officers of area clubs, especially Garden Grove, and the items are from
the 1950s through the 1970s. They include membership cards, meeting
announcements, awards and plaques, pins, and more. These will be
available for viewing at future meetings, and we welcome suggestions on
what to do with this donation."Meeting Program:July was our bourse night with several members selling
selected coins and memorabilia.
Prizes: No raffles because of bourse night.
