Wk 10: Procedural Modeling
Learning Goals
Students will be able to:
Goal describe procedural modeling.
Create live copies of objects with Instance Objects.
Model a straight staircase with the Cloner object.
Model a spiral staircase with the Cloner object.
Create & randomize a grid of clones.
Layout placards on a surface.

Homework 10:45am-10:50pm
What:
Project: Create an environment using procedural modeling techniques. You can create a human landscape & architecture from any era in history, or imagine an alien world or spaceship. I'm looking for:
A 1920x1080 Still Frame (you can animate if you want, but it's not required).
Environment / Architecture created using procedural modeling tools, like:
Instances
MoGraph Cloners
Array Objects
Symmetry Objects
Primitives
Photo-based textures
Lighting / Shading that creates a mood
Careful camera composition
Please plan to spend 6hrs on this project.
Due: By the start of our next class session on your Course Projects Blog.
