Setup your reference imagery
- Go to your Front viewport
- Viewport > Options > Configure
- Attributes Manager > Back > Image > ...
- Navigate to the background image of the faucet
- Adjust the Offset X, Offset Y, and Rotation parameters to center the faucet in the view

- Add a cube object to your scene
- Scale it so that it is roughly the same width as the faucet in your background image
- Adjust the height of your cube so that it matches the base
- Use the extrude and normal scale tools to bring up and adjust polygons so that they match your reference imagery.

- How to bridge two objects
- File > Save Incremental (Because this is a destructive process, we want to be sure we've saved)
- Select the objects you want to bridge together.
- Make them editable (keyboard shortcut: c)
- Mesh > Conversion > Connect Objects & Delete
- Mesh > Commands > Optimize
- Select the polygons on both sides that you want to bridge together.
- In polygon mode, rt-click > Bridge
- Click and drag from an edge point on one polygon group, to the matching point on the opposite polygon group.
