Model the Text

  1. Create a MoText Object
  2. Attributes Manager
    1. Object
      1. Change the text to "RUST"
      2. Change the font to Abadi MT
      3. Align = Middle
      4. Depth = 60
    2. Caps
      1. Start = Fillet Cap
      2. End = Fillet Cap
      3. Steps = 5 for both

Find Reference / Texture Images Online

  1. Decide what sort of material you want to create
  2. Perform a google image search
  3. Download high-res images
  4. Open the image in photoshop

Apply the Texture in C4D

Add Material Channels in PS/C4D as Needed
