Basic Principles

Do candidates understand and commit to abide by the principles of good government such as

• Government’s job is to protect our freedom to make choices, not to make them for us

• Eliminate programs that fall outside the proper bounds (e.g., subsidizing or competing with private sector, discouraging self reliance,…).

• Understanding and support of the principle of separation of powers, between branches and levels of government
