Maintain or working towards self reliance is an important effort. Being productive and earning a living for oneself and family brings joy and self respect.

Sometimes circumstances don't allow for traditional employment. Here are some ideas for people in such circumstances:

• Perhaps 1 or more people would pay a small amount per week for someone to patrol their neighborhood for an hour or 2 each night.
• Perhaps 1 or more people would pay a small amount per week for someone to clean up the neighborhood for an hour or 2 each day/night.
• Perhaps someone would like a personal trainer who would exercise with them and encourage proper eating habits.
