Taxes

My positions:

The tax code is far too complex and should be simplified to reduce the unproductive burden on citizens and companies.
Tax credits as well as subsidies should be eliminated. They represent a very statist approach to government allowing the government to choose winners and losers. It encourages companies to spend vast resources to bribe representatives into giving them advantages instead of focusing their efforts on satisfying their customer.
Government services should be paid for by those receiving the services.
We shouldn't be forcibly taking money from one group and giving it to another.
