Here's the Republican Party Primary Election Info. Primary election is 2022-06-28. Here's my research to determine how to vote.

  1. Republican for US Senate (Lee)

    1. Becky Edwards, website

      1. + Generally good set of priorities

      2. - I don't like her support for certain types of business regulations such as forcing businesses to provide paid leave

      3. - Didn't win at convention - I like the caucus system because with representative government you tend to get people who are more serious about learning the principles.

    2. Ally Isom, website

      1. - term limits - just gives more power to the party (Term limits)

      2. + I like that she has a paragraph on some things she would do differently than Mike - just too vague

      3. - Didn't win at convention - I like the caucus system because with representative government you tend to get people who are more serious about learning the principles.

      2. - he likes term limits (Term limits)

      3. - I disagree that we should work towards energy independence. I'd rather have highly distributed sources of energy and it's a private sector matter.

      4. ++ I like that Mike Lee received overwhelming support at the convention. The only the the others are on the ballot is because they gathered enough signatures.

  2. Republican for US House of Representatives - District 3 (Herrod)

    1. Christopher Niles Herrod website

      1. - He agrees with overturning Roe v. Wade

      2. - Agrees with pressuring private companies like Facebook to sensor the way government wants

      3. + Congress should fulfill it's roll of financial oversight

      4. - Supports "America First" trade policies - I strongly disagree with this. Let the market decide.

      5. - Believes in US energy independence - I strongly disagree with this. This approach hurts almost everyone for the benefit of US energy companies.

      6. + substantial lead at convention

    2. John Curtis website

      1. - Agrees with pressuring private companies like Facebook to sensor the way government wants

      2. +- I like legislation like, "Deal With Debt Today Act"; however I hate the way he blames the democrats for what republicans have been just as guilty doing, spending way too much.

      3. - Believes in US energy independence - I strongly disagree with this. This approach hurts almost everyone for the benefit of US energy companies.

      4. - Supports "America First" trade policies - I strongly disagree with this. Let the market decide.

      2. + Seems to be making some thoughtful and hard decisions
