Photobombed!

Be sure you've done Adventure Image first so you know what this assignment is all about!

In order to do this project, I'd recommend watching this quick video on cloning. It's crazy cool, and super useful for retouching pictures!

Attached, you will find a photo taken at a recent party. As you can see, we have three characters, each with their own set of problems:

• • Polly, on the left, has some severe acne that she's ashamed of.

  • Guido, on the right, has just gotten an incredibly regrettable facial tattoo.

  • Speedy, in the middle, got lucky--he doesn't have anything wrong, specifically, but this picture has given him some pretty intense redeye.

In addition, the location in which the picture was taken is very, very dark.

In order to improve the picture, Speedy, Guido, and Polly have commissioned you to make changes to it. They'd like you to fix their various facial problems and lighten the background on the whole in order to create a picture that they'd be proud to send home to their parents.

Using your knowledge of Paint.NET's lasso tool, color replacement tool, color modifying tools, clone tool, and layers, fix the photograph for your pals.

You may not be perfect at this. That's okay! Do the best you can. Using these tools is difficult. The first thing I'd like you to do, however, when you start the assignment, is to write your name on the background layer in order to "mark" your assignment.
