Today, we start an entirely new assignment: Drop The Beat! In this assignment, we are using a program called Mixcraft in order to create our own music. Today, we'll watch a very, very simple tutorial, and then we'll go over the assignment details.

Today, we'll be getting introduced to Google Slides. The students will apply the information they learn today in a brief tutorial to a short assignment based around Google Slides. The assignment we're starting today is located here, and is worth 50 points. You will have until 2/19 to work on this!

In class today we start on Paint.NET, and we'll handle it deftly with a beginner's tutorial, which can be found here. We're not watching the entire video today (we will split it between today and tomorrow), but students will be doing some practice on the program today. We are going to use this information to eventually complete the Adventure Image project.

Today, we continue work on All About Me. It's the final in-class day to work on this project, so students are encouraged to work hard in class and finish the project before the "soft" deadline (remember, projects are not totally "due" until the final week of class!).

Don't Forget: Today, we have our first piece of homework in the Google Draw Post-Test. This is a quick assignment worth 10 points that should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. It is due by the end of the 9 weeks.
