Make sure you know how to use Paint.NET (Adventure Image or You're The Star!) before you do this assignment!

It's time to tell me who you are!

First, head over to this video and learn about blending modes. They're a fairly simple concept to understand; experimenting with them in your own file helps quite a bit. Another tip that definitely helps is to reduce the opacity!

Then, think about ten things (or people, or places, or ideas, or whatever) that you love. Go and collect pictures of them. Make sure they are large pictures! Also make sure one of them will look quality as a background. A picture of a location is usually a good fit for this! Do not add a layer filter to your background.

Clean all of your pictures up, and put them all on the same canvas together. Manipulate the layers such that all are visible and nicely blended. Add your face in the middle of the chaos to show that all of these things are representative of you. Be sure not to use a layer filter on your face! It should look clean and crisp. Ideally, you want your face to represent a SHOUT! in the foreground, and everything else should be a speak or a whisper in the background.

When you're done, you have an artistic collage that is representative of your interests and likes. Get some points for it by showing it to Mr. A!
