My Favorite Story
In this assignment, you're going to be telling me your favorite story.
Your favorite story is going to have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Think of how many different stories that might encompass! Every great book, movie, or video game has a story. You might also consider such fringe ideas as songs and poetry when you think about story-based media!
You are going to use a series of six slides to give me a little information about this story and get some practice in using animations and transitions within Google Slides. The six slides should include the following:
Slide 1: Title
Tell me what the story is called.Â
Include one graphic. It can be the book cover, some fanart, or whatever seems appropriate for the occasion.
Slide 2: Critical characters
Detail, at minimum, four characters from the story.
Each character should have a picture (again, it could just be your imagining of what the character looks like, if it's from a book or song) and a short 1-2 sentences of description.
Slide 3: Beginning
Tell me what happens in the onset of the story. What is the conflict that sets the events of the story in motion?
Add a photo.
Slides 4&5: Middle
Describe what happens to the characters as they travel from the beginning of the story to the end. You can be very general here, or you can choose to highlight two specific events from the lives of these characters.
Add a photo.
Slide 6: End
Describe to me what happens at the end of the story, but be careful not to spoil anything! I may want to read, watch, or play these things eventually, so you'll want to keep the element of surprise.
Add a photo.
In addition to the criteria listed above, each of the slides should have a transition and at least one piece of animation. When finished, please share it with me!
