My all time favourite Bond soundtrack, this was the one that got me hooked on Bond & Barry music. My vinyl version is well played that I'm surprised that the grooves haven't worn out. During my DJ days I used to play the now classic Louis Armstrong song We Have All The Time In The World at engagements & weddings long before it was used in a beer commercial.

With the only instrumental main 007 theme to date, the album includes: This Never Happened to the Other Feller track sets the scene for the appearance of a new 007. The following Try was the introduction of Barry's 'lounge' type music later used in DAF. Ski Chase still stands the test of time with it's excitement. Do You Know ... is the track that I always omit but remember that Nina's vocal is only heard in the background in the village during the film ... perhaps after a few drinks at Xmas. Journey to Blofeld's Hideaway recaptures the breath-taking helicopter ride over the Swiss Alps. The final & 2nd instrumental of the love song track evokes memories of Bond & Tracy's final moments together ending with a blast of The James Bond Theme.

This will always be at the top of my Bond soundtrack list. Pure Class !

If you're wondering why the On Her Majesty's Secret Service theme is track 6, that because on the original vinyl it was track 1 side 2.
