My late purchase of this album doesn't reflect my opinion of Michael Lethal Weapon Kamen's music, I have always enjoyed the vinyl album with the same tracks but was just unhappy with MCA's CD price. So it took me another 13 years to buy it at an acceptable reduced price.

Tracks 1 to 5 ( Side 1 ) are mainly vocal with exception of track 4 ( the instrumental ) and has Gladys Knight's powerful opening song which is a worthy addition to the Bond themes, Ivory's Wedding Party brings back memories of Dr. No's calypso days, Dirty Love is a gutsy tune for the bar fight scene and the Patti Labelle's If You Asked Me To ballad for James & Pam ties in well with the movie's ending.

Tracks 6 to 10 ( Side 2 ) are all instrumental with Kamen's good & dramatic use of music helped by The National Philharmonic Orchestra. He introduces the James Bond Theme at appropriate times with the end track reminding us of the movie's original title.

A worthy outing, shame not longer, by the now late Mr Kamen.
