Today at Quest we started to work on fun ideas with organelles like making a comic strip, acting them out, and making puzzles. It was fun starting on our chosen projects! We also did a puzzle where we had to save some fish that got knocked off the deck of a ship that were rare, it was pretty hard but still fun to work on. That is how our day at Quest went!

Today Annabelle was a book consultant and she told us about her book, Ungifted by Gordan Korman. So far, she rates it a five out of five stars. We spent most of our day researching facts about cells, cell walls, the cell's nucleus, the cell's membrane, etc. At the end of the day we watched a riddle video about how to get three lions and three wildebeests across a crocodile infested river. It was very challenging, but some of us managed to solve it. We had an amazing day at QUEST today.

02/09/23 The kids presented their scripts today. Ten weeks of dedication and hard work resulted in fabulous skits! You should be very proud of your perseverance and diligence! I apologize for the sound quality, many of the students are hard to hear. The kids tell me earbuds/earphones make it easier to hear. Enjoy!

1/18/23 Today we continued writing our scripts. After a bit of writing, Sammy K. presented the book the Ghost Of Popular Point to the class! It was good. Also, we did Latin roots , today our root was scrib/script! Then, we went back to making our scripts. We had to do a lot of productive talking to create our scripts. And last but not least, it was Sammy's birthday today, so we wished him a very happy B-day! :D By: Austin & Emma

See you in the new year!

10/6 We came in and read independently for a couple of minutes. Then we listened to the picture book, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. After we read the book, we used Peel the Fruit to show our thinking. We read Beyond the Bright Sea and began to visualize what the new world looks like. Lastly, we learned how to use Google Keep. We wrote our first trimester goals in Keep.
9/22 Today we learned all about giving 100% in QUEST. 100% means to pay attention and give QUEST your all. We made meaning of what 100% means. To get into groups we used animals and their sounds to find our partners. It was an obnoxiously fun way to find partners. We read a folktale entitled The Old Woman and the Physician.
