November 25 - Today, we had lots of fun. We mostly worked with circuits and we learned about series circuits and parallel circuits. We made very ridiculous circuits that had multiple batteries for just one light bulb and the light bulbs ended up being so bright that it burned out immediately. We also had to make parallel circuits. We know that it works when one light bulb get unscrewed but the rest of the light bulbs still work. We did not have a word of the day but our book consultants were Aneeka and Addie. Aneeka presented the book Wings of Fire Escaping Peril and Addie presented The Stepsister. overall I loved quest today and I cannot wait for next week. 😃- Rayan Paul
November 18 - No QUEST last week! Today when we got here we did our morning work sheet. It was a magic square puzzle invented by Ben Franklin. Our words of the week were Profound and Livid. We watched a video about Aero Island. Aero Island is an island in the middle of Denmark and is an island only powered by renewable energy including wind and sun. Lastly we read about our Sustainable Development Goal for the next Socratic Seminar. Declan and Remi
November 4 - Today we didn't have a lot of kids because of the chorus field trip. Since we did not have a lot of kids we mostly did fun activities. Some of the activities include, making paper chains, we did a TedEd puzzle, and then, we solved sudoku puzzles and played with snap kits. Our word of the day was Profound; which Rayan presented. Our book consultants were Rayan and Ella. Ella presented the book "My Side of the Mountain" and Rayan presented the book "Watership Down". Our day was awesome and full of fun! -Amanda and Rayan
October 28 - We did not do word of the day, habits of mind, or book consultant because it is big build day! We worked on getting a tall and sturdy tower. All the towers pasted the test of the fan! Next week we are going to start a seminar about Sustainable World Development.

October 21 - The word of the day is visage, it means the look on a face. The habit of mind was thinking about your thinking. The book consultant was Declan. He presented the I Survive Series. Today we spent most of our time planning our building project for STEM. Next week we will be building the tallest and sturdiest tower possible out of toothpicks and biodegradable foam peanuts. We made different models today to see what worked and what didn't. At the end of QUEST we finished up the Color, Symbol, Image Making Thinking Visible Strategy from A Sense of a Goose seminar. It was a busy day!
October 14 - The word of the week was Din meaning loud, harsh, or strident noise. The habit of mind was Thinking Flexibly. The book consultant was Addy, she presented the Wings of Fire graphic novel series. We had our very first Socratic Seminar about the Sense of a Goose. Anna and Rayan were the two moderators, which are question readers. Lastly, we had an amazing day here at QUEST. -Addy and Amanda
October 7 - The word of the week was allude, meaning indirectly referring to. The habit of mind was listening with understanding and empathy. The book consultant for today was Anna, she presented the book Wires Crossed. We started talking about the Socratic Seminar. We finished reading our Sense of a Goose packet. We also started planning for our project of building the tallest tower that can withstand strong gusts of wind. Lastly we had a great day at QUEST. -Sincerely, Addy and Madison
September 30 - The word of the day was magnanimous, meaning generous spirit. The habit of mind is striving accuracy. The book consultant was Ella and she presented the book Augie And Me. We also tried to stack index cards and had to create the tallest tower and make it able to hold a pack of erasers and not fall down. Lastly, we finished our sentence, phrase, and word thinking activity for our seminar, The Sense of a Goose. Overall we had a great day at Quest! -Aneeka and Madison
September 23 - The habit of mind for the day is Questioning and Posing Problems. The word of the day is wistful, meaning having sadness or a pensive mood centered on something good in the past. The book consultant was Amanda and she presented Diary of a Roblox Pro. We read a essay about geese after reading it we chose a word, phrase, and sentence that we felt was most important and then explained why we chose it. Overall we had a really good day at Quest! September 15 - Today we had a good day in QUEST. The word of the day today was melancholy. This word means sadness. Adalyn was the book consultant and she presented the book girl who was forgotten. We also watched a video of the Strandbeest. These life like creature were designs to move around without having to use fossil fuels like carbon dioxide. We did not go on Teddy today. Overall we had a splendid day at QUEST today :3
September 9 - Today is the first day of QUEST. The word of the week was exquisite which means beautifully made. The habit of mind was persisting. Madison was the book consultant, she presented the Spy School series. We had a teamwork challenge where we all stood on a tarp and had to flip it over without anyone falling off the tarp. We got to know more about our QUESTers with four corners. We took our picture blasting into space. We've named the playground Teddy, we didn't play on the playground, just took our class photo out there. QUEST was exquisite today.
