SensoScientific’s Wireless Probe match with the Senso HACCP app allows for immediate temperature documentation up to 572°F. This fast and accurate thermocouple probe is accurate to ±0.7°F (±0.4°C) and takes readings between 2-3 seconds. Compatible with any iOS or AndroidTM phone or tablet, this temperature probe with wireless technology is a true plug and play solution. Turn the device ON by unfolding the probe no more than 180 degrees as damage will occur. When opening, the Wireless Probe will perform a battery check and flash twice signifying battery level. To turn OFF the device, fold the probe until it is secured to the rubber probe retainer. It if recommended to store the probe in the closed position when not in use.

Battery Status is viewed on the Wireless Probe by identifying the LED light indicator. Battery Status can also be viewed via the Senso HACCP app. (See Senso HACCP App for more information.)

Apply the tip of the probe to the substance, medium, or surface to be measured. The minimum insertion depth should be 0.12” (3mm). From the Senso HACCP app, select the desired item and record measurements.
Caution: Probe tip is sharp and may remain hot after taking temperatures.
How to Use
Download the Senso HACCP app on an iOS or Android™ smartphone or tablet. The Senso HACCP app can be downloaded free from the Apple® App Store or on Google Play™. Upon download, open the Senso HACCP app and select “Devices” from the bottom menu. Unfold the Wireless Probe to the ON position. The instrument will appear on the “Devices” page. If you cannot see the device, select the “Refresh” button. Select the “Connect” button of the Wireless Probe of choice and you can begin measuring temperatures.
Press the center button to measure and transmit results. Alternately, select the “Record” button of the desired item from the Senso HACCP app.
If the probe has developed an “open circuit” fault, Senso HACCP will display “Err”.
IPA and other solvents may cause damage to the case of this instrument.
It is recommended to wipe the probe with a food-grade cleansing wipe between temperature readings. Regularly clean the instrument to prevent potential food-borne bacteria growth.
Do NOT pry containers, puncture packages, or lift food items with the probe.
Do NOT expose the thermometer body to temperatures above 122°F (50°C).
Do NOT expose the tip or probe shaft to temperatures above 572°F (300°C).
Do NOT stab, jab, or force probe tip into any solid medium. No NOT force probe tip into frozen food.
Do NOT allow oils or food to collect on the thermometer body. Clean frequently with sanitizing wipe.
If the amber light starts flashing rapidly during startup, the Wireless Probe is updating firmware. Please leave the probe open and wait for the rapidly flashing lights to stop before use.
The Wireless Probe requires 1 x AAA battery to function. To replace the battery, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery cover at the bottom of the device. Gently pull the battery retaining clip and remove the old battery. Replace the battery, positive end first, before screwing the battery cover back down.
Please Note: Ensure battery cover is tight against the seal to avoid potential irreparable damage. Do no use excessive force when refitting the battery cover.
