The SensoScientific Technical Support Team may determine that a device needs to be replaced after troubleshooting issues/errors. Replacements can be sent to clients or retrieved from Spare Node inventory. (See Spare Nodes for more information.) If no Spare Nodes exist, SensoScientific will ship your facility a replacement node (referred to as an RMA Node on the “Current Status” page).

NOTE: RMA Nodes must be turned ON and connected to your facility’s Wi-Fi network prior to using the “Replace RMA Nodes” function.
When you have received a new node from SensoScientific, you must Replace RMA Nodes to transfer data from the Old Node to the New RMA Node. Please follow these directions to complete the transfer:
Select the “CONFIGURATION” tab in the main menu.
Select the “Nodes” tab in the submenu.
The submenu will reveal new options. Select the “Replace RMA Nodes” tab.
Select the Old Node’s MAC Address from the dropdown list. Alternately, you can enter the MAC Address in the text field. (You can find the MAC Address either on the Node’s screen, on the back of the device below the barcode, or on the “Registered Nodes” page. See Nodes for more information.)
A table will populate displaying the MAC Address, Last Updated (Date/Time), and Action option available for the New Node. If no field populates, please contact the SensoScientific Technical Support Team by submitting a Ticket (See Submit a Ticket for more information.)
Click the “Replace” button of the New Node you would like to activate.
