The top section of the “Settings” page establishes Global Generation and Notification settings applied to the entire account. Global Alarm Generation and Global Signal Alarm Generation refers to whether or not you want the entire cloud account to be able to generate these types of alarms. Global Alarm Notification, Global Signal Alarm Notification, Global Signal ReAlarm Notification, and Global Battery ReAlarm Notification settings refer to whether or not you want the entire cloud account to be able to generate these types of notifications. We recommend you leave these fields to the ON position on the dropdown toggle unless otherwise consulted by a member of the SensoScientific Technical Support Team.
The Admin Audit Report feature enables or disables the ability for users to audit the reports they generate. (See Audit Report for more information.)
As a System Admin, you have an administrative role and know which user level types correlate to titles and responsibilities within your facility. “Select the type of notification that System Admin receives for selected nodes” allows you to determine whether you want System Admins to receive All types of alarm notifications (Data, Signal, and Battery Alarms) or whether you’d prefer them to receive “Only signal and battery” alarm notifications. The preference is meant to reflect a System Admin’s responsibilities within your facility. For example, many System Admins are not in charge of the day-to-day maintenance of the cloud (i.e. Monitoring Nodes and Confirming Alarms). You may want them to receive “Only signal and battery” alarm notifications because they have the authority to purchase batteries or contact the IT Department for Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
Likewise, you can customize which types of alarms Group Admins, standard Users, and Guests receive by marking the checkbox to active the alarm type for the selected user. Standard Users, who may be nurses or specialists within your facility, may not need to receive Signal and Battery Alarms because they might not be able to purchase batteries or instill department-wide Wi-Fi changes, for example. This section is available to help customize notifications user level types receive. (See User Level Type Permissions for more information.)
The Suspend Node section allows you to customize the User Level Type you want to give the ability to be able to suspend nodes from sending alarm notifications. (See Suspend Alarm for more information.)

Lastly, you can customize the password rules you’d like to enforce throughout the cloud account by marking the checkboxes next to Enable Password Rules and Force A New User To Reset Password During the First Login. You can also determine a Password Validity Duration (No Reset, 3 Months, 6 Months, and 1 Year).
Forced Password Reset: Users will be required to create a new password during the first login into a newly created user account.Â
Password Validity Duration: Set an interval for users that, when expired, requires password reset.Â
Enable Password Rules: Password complexity requires one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one numeric character.Â
