The cellular gateway broadcasts 2.4GHz Wi-Fi remotely for use in circumstances where Wi-Fi is not available. This product is sourced from PWS and is used most commonly with the OTA series. This is a great option as a backup internet in the event of a power outage.
Wi-Fi - 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi 4
Cellular Data - LTE (not 5G) Passive GNSS/GPS
Carrier  - AT&T or Verizon (note that the carrier is hardwired upon order if the carrier needs to be changed, the unit needs to replaced)
Regions - North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Middle East, Asia-Pacific

The cellular gateway is a viable option under the following circumstances:
Wireless infrastructure is not available
Difficult to access wired internet or security privileges are limited
Access to a constant power supply
10 or less devices connecting to the gateway via Wi-Fi
As a backup internet source for disaster scenario (power outage, internet down, etc...)
If the range or number of nodes needs to be increased add the following gateway:
P/N: G-NSM2KIT
Range - 150ft (indoor) 300ft (outdoor)
Nodes - 40 (number of nodes that can connect to the gateway)
The G-NSM2KIT will then transmit Wi-Fi and connect to the G-3GGX400 via ethernet
Connect the gateway by plugging in the Grey cable ( LAN cable ) from the POE port of the adapter to your network and the power cord to a wall outlet.Â
Please give it a few minutes to boot up then check to confirm that you are able to see the SensoScientific SSID.Â
When you see the SensoScientific SSID, we can then configure the node.Â
Please let me know your availability so we can go on a call.
