NOTE: Usernames and Passwords are case-sensitive.
The Username should be a valid email address directly accessibly by the user whose profile is being created. Passwords can be changed by users at any time. (See Change Password for more information.) System Admins can also customize the cloud’s password settings, enabling or disabling password rules which are enforced throughout the entire cloud account. (See Password Rules for more information.)
User profile settings can be configured to receive email notifications for Notification Email and Alarm Confirmation Email. To receive any one of these types of email notifications, select ON from the dropdown list and enter the appropriate email address in the “Valid Notification Email Address” field.
NOTE: Even if the “Valid Notification Email Address” is the same as the “Username” email address, you must enter it again. The Cloud will not send notifications to Usernames – only to email addresses entered in the appropriate field.
Data, Signal, and Battery Alarm Email Notifications include an attached graph of the data readings preceding the alarm. Alarm Email notifications include the following information:
Device Name  Name of the alarmed device
Node Id     ID of the alarmed device
Location     Location name of alarmed device
Device Type  Type of device (Temperature, Humidity, Light, etc…)
Alarm Type  Type of alarm the device is experiencing
  (Data, Signal, Battery)
Alarm Max  Device’s configured Maximum Alarm Limit
Alarm Min  Device’s configured Minimum Alarm Limit
Alarm Date  Date and time that the data excursion occurred
Alarm Value  Data value at the time of the alarm
Current Date Time the email is sent
Current Value Data value at the time the email is sent

NOTE: Even if the “Valid Report Email Address” is the same as the “Username” email address, you must enter it again. The Cloud will not send notifications to Usernames – only to email addresses entered in the appropriate field.
Users can also receive automated reports, sent to the email address of choice. Automatic report options include Daily, Daily Hourly, Daily Exception, Weekly, Monthly, Summary, and Two Point Monitoring Reports. To receive any one of these types of reports, select ON from the dropdown list and enter the appropriate email address in the “Valid Report Email Address” field.
Weekly Report requires a day of the week to be selected, Monthly report requires two samples times, all of the reports require a valid report email address to receive the reports
Two Point Monitoring Reports
Two Point Monitoring is a feature which allows for a two-point monitoring report to be sent via email to a designated user. If turned on, this report will be sent daily.
Exception Report
When the Exception Report is enabled, the system sends an email every day which only contains the nodes that reported out of range data. By default, the exception report is OFF for new users. In the User Configuration screen, change Daily Exception On/Off from Off to On > SaveÂ
Automated Daily Summer Report
Customers with huge number of nodes will have difficulty tracking all the node reports. The summary report helps users to quickly analyze the data by concentrating on a few critical features: Minimum/Maximum/Average Temperature, Number of Nodes in Range, and Number of Nodes Out of Range*.Â
*Out of Range refers to an excursion of a node (See common terms in General Information and Requirements)Â
Users can receive Data, Signal, and Battery Alarm notifications via SMS, Voice, and Fax. To receive notifications through these mediums, select ON from the dropdown list and enter the appropriate number in the correlating field.
The Cloud distinguishes four (4) user level types that dictate the account’s cloud access. User Level Types may be directly related to job title and/or facility responsibilities. (See User Level Type Permissions for more information.)
Many facilities like to keep the “Current Status” page displayed on their monitor at all times. Enabling the Auto Refresh on Current Status allows the “Current Status” page to refresh on the determined interval without needing to refresh the browser manually. Users can set the auto refresh in 5-, 10-, and 15-minute intervals or receive no auto refresh.
When a node alarms, it will send notifications based on the node’s and user’s configured notification settings (i.e. by email, phone, fax, and/or SMS). The “Select to receive notifications instantly or by escalation” field allows you to customize whether you want the user to receive notifications the moment the cloud triggers an alarm or if you would like to establish an Escalation Time to delay notifications.
Escalation Times are useful to help tier notifications to determined users. For example, managers and department heads may want to have an escalation time. That w
