The SensoScientific Cloud sends notifications for 3 alarm types.
Contents
Data Alarms happen when the node takes a reading outside of the configured primary alarm limits. (See Primary Alarm Limit for more information.) Alerts are sent in accordance with the assigned user’s configured notification settings. (See Email Notifications and/or SMS / Voice / Fax Notifications for more information.) Data Alarms will display as RED on the “Current Status” page and the “Value Status” column field will say “Out of Range”.
To correct a Data Alarm, ensure the storage unit is working properly and the measured parameter has stabilized. Fix the excursion THEN confirm the alarm. Otherwise, the system will continue to alarm and send notifications until the issue is resolved. See Confirm Alarm and/or Confirm Multiple Alarms for more information on confirming this alarm.
To enable/disable nodes from sending Data Alarms, you must change the node’s operating setting. (See Signal / Data / Battery Alarm Function for more information.)
Signal alarms notify you that the node has disconnected from the Wi-Fi. When the node has been disconnected for 66 minutes, the node will display as YELLOW on the “Current Status” page. After the node is disconnected for 120 minutes, the node will display as RED on the “Current Status” page and send notifications via the assigned user’s configured notification settings. (See Email Notifications and/or SMS / Voice / Fax Notifications for more information.)
To correct a Signal Alarm, ensure the node is properly connected to the desired Wi-Fi network. Fix the connectivity issue THEN confirm the alarm. Otherwise, the system will continue to alarm and send notifications until the issue is resolved. See Confirm Alarm and/or Confirm Multiple Alarms for more information on confirming this alarm.
To enable/disable nodes from sending Signal Alarms, you must change the node’s operating setting. (See Signal / Data / Battery Alarm Functionfor more information.)
When the node’s battery reaches 25% or less, it enters a Low Battery state and sends a Battery Alarm to notify users. Alerts are sent in accordance with the assigned user’s configured notification settings. (See Email Notifications and/or SMS / Voice / Fax Notifications for more information.) Battery Alarms will display as RED on the “Current Status” and “Battery Status” pages.
To correct a Battery Alarm, change the node’s batteries. Fix the battery issue THEN confirm the alarm. Otherwise, the system will continue to alarm and send notifications until the issue is resolved. See Confirm Alarm and/or Confirm Multiple Alarms for more information on confirming this alarm.
To enable/disable nodes from sending Battery Alarms, you must change the node’s operating setting. (See Signal / Data / Battery Alarm Function for more information.)
