As Women's History Month falls upon us, some ways to support the local women of New Hampshire is to acknowledge the hardworking women business owners throughout the state. According to WBENC only 42% of businesses are women owned and the ongoing success of small and large stores in New Hampshire proves these women are strong individuals.

Forest and Ash

This downtown Exeter hit homes all your interior design favorites. The recent arrival of the store stirred major success almost instantly. The two store owners, Robin Drunsic and Hannah Shafer created a crafty and cozy shop for all the inhabitants of New Hampshire to enjoy.

Ceals

This woman owned business is not only currently owned by a woman but has been handed down for generations of a hardworking family. This local Seabrook beach clam stand brings tourists and locals alike to try phenomenal seafood. Exeter High School's very own sub coordinator, Alison Tirone, is one of the hard-working women who creates these tasteful seafood meals.  

Laney and Lu

Smoothies, bowls, and small talk all can be found at Laney and Lu in downtown Exeter. When you need a place to grab a quick bite or to study in a nice environment the comfy feel of this eatery completes your needs. 

Ginger Fox

Ginger Fox, located in Stratham, New Hampshire, is a quality bakery that creates real pastries and “sources only the best ingredients” to create a healthier spin on your bakery favorites. This local delight was created by Jennifer Desrosiers who also founded Laney and Lu, putting her name in the business world of New Hampshire.

This chic clothing store is a downtown Exeter must, containing soft sweaters to jeans of any style that match your vibes. Owned by Dana De Niro, Lunachics is the comforting environment for all shoppers within the New Hampshire area.

Ani’s Bagel Cafe
