Exeter High School Student-Run Newspaper!
Merrill Contest
The Merrill Contest is an annual school-wide writing contest judged by the English department at EHS. There is no official prompt, word limit, or guidelines, and instead, students are encouraged to submit something that has already been written for one of their classes. Papers can be submitted in one of three categories - fiction, nonfiction, and poetry - and there is no submission limit or fee. This year’s contest closed on March 30th at 2:30, but it is expected that the contest will be repeated next year as well. Students are encouraged to submit their already-written entries for a chance to win!
