The halls are loud, and so are people. Welcome to Exeter High School’s Overheard in the Halls, a series that’s dedicated to out-of-context phrases. Everything you’ll read here has been said–too loudly–for many people to hear.

“Have you been arrested recently?”

“Not recently.”

→ This is comforting to know you’re working on self-improvement.

“PICKLES!!!”

→ Thanks…

“Why are there so many people here? It’s 8:00 a.m. go home.”

→ Huh, I wonder?

“I woke up and chose academic violence.”

→ Timmy Tuff-Knuckles.

“Chemistry fears me.”

→ Judging by the burnt smell coming from upstairs, it probably should.

“There’s glue in my shoe.”

→ Context?

“My GPA is 6.7.”

“SIX SEVEN!!!”

→ Maybe you should’ve stayed home. Also, impossible.
