Wow!! What an amazing month we’ve had in our class! Every single day has been filled with creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning. We’ve truly made the most of our time together!
Our s’more-themed week was an absolute hit! Not only did it make everyone smile, but it also helped us dive deeper into place value, addition, subtraction, and sciences in a fun and memorable way. Â
We also had our much-anticipated Outdoor Day, where we spent the entire day learning outside. Students used their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills to explore inquiry-based challenges tied to our unit on forces that attract and repel. Out in the woods, surrounded by sunshine and fresh air, we applied our understanding of gravity, push, and pull to build amazing forts. The collaboration and creativity were incredible to watch!
Back in the classroom and with the help of the University of Manitoba, we’ve been continuing our work with coding robots, which fits perfectly with our novel study of The Wild Robot.Â
It’s hard to imagine how we’ll top a month like this—but if this group has shown us anything, it’s that there’s always something exciting around the corner!

On Monday, November 17, the Senior and Junior choirs travelled to Winnipeg to participate in a choir festival: Choralfest. They sang beautifully and impressed the adjudicators with their big and mighty sound! Félicitations et bravo!Â
