We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our entire school community for the incredible support shown during our Winter Concerts. Seeing families, friends, and staff come together to celebrate our students made these events truly special.
A special congratulations and thank you to Mme. Liane Ouimet for putting together such an outstanding performance. The students shined on stage, and their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm were evident in every piece performed. We are also grateful to Mme. Rachelle Lamoureux for the beautiful décor that transformed the gymnasium and added so much warmth and creativity to the concerts.
These events would not have been possible without the many individuals who worked behind the scenes. Thank you to all staff members and students who played a part in making the concerts run smoothly and successfully.
Thank you for helping make our Winter Concerts such a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Mme Diane's Grade 1/2 class has been busy lately!
We read the book "Ruby's Hope" and "Joyeux Noël petite souris" where we learned about helping the less fortunate. We helped with the food drive and were super excited about it.
We wrote letters to Santa earlier this month. He wrote back but the weather has delayed his letters and we will receive them after the holidays.
The grade 1/2 class has been solving mystery numbers all month to reveal a secret surprise. We finally revealed the picture this week. We are excited for out hot chocolate and Christmas party that has been rescheduled to when we return in school in January.
The art room has been buzzing with creativity as we prepared for the winter concert. Our amazing artists have been designing, painting, folding origami decorations, and joyfully creating paper chains, especially in Grades 1/2, where the goal seems to be making them as long as possible! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible artists for helping prepare for the concert and for bringing so much colour and joy to our school.
High school students have also dedicated many hours to stunning plasticine artworks that resemble oil paintings, using careful colour mixing, beautiful gradients, and textured details to bring movement to life. In pottery class, students designed and hand built beautiful houses and pine trees, showcasing impressive technique and craftsmanship.
Alongside all of this, our school wide sticker sale spread happiness throughout the halls. Thank you to everyone who purchased stickers and supported this fun, creative activity!
